Your internships are done. Everything from here is a start date, not a summer.
The part that applies to every year
It's all rolling. Nobody waits for the deadline to start reading. By the time a mid-January deadline arrives, somewhere between 60 and 80 percent of the seats are already committed.
Which means there is no deadline that matters. There's an opening date, and you're either there or you're not.
